摘要：Analyzing and processing big data has been an important and challenging task in various fields of science and engineering. Learning theory has wide applications in data analysis for handling big data. It aims at learning function relations or data structures from samples. In this talk I will give a brief introduction to three topics in learning theory: regression, classification and dimension reduction. Some learning algorithms including the least square regularized regression, support vector machine classification, and graph Laplacian will be demonstrated.
